How to take care of your Upstream Jewelry

The jewelry is of high quality polymer clay. It has no phthalates and is made with beeswax and other natural ingredients and high end pigments. Please mind the handmade nature of all our jewelry, slight variations may occur compared to the picture. If anything gets on the jewelry, clean with a damp cloth and a tiny amount of acetone. Do not wear in water or get wet as it could jeopardize the longevity of your earrings. Polymer clay is very durable but try not to bend or it can snap.

Sustainability - Slow Fashion

The polymer clay we use is made with beeswax and other natural ingredients and high end pigments. It contains no phthalates. At Upstream Studio we are very much aware of the impact our modern life style has on the environment. Mass consumption and disposable plastic are huge problems. We strongly believe that Slow Fashion is the way forward.

Recycling is a part of our design process.

We try to limit the waste of resources to a minimum. But as I like to carve my pieces I have quite a lot of polymer snippets. These along with pieces that didn’t make it to the collection are redeemed or recycled into new pieces.
